Driver 80.6 kg plus 6.6 kg ballast. Kart 265.6 kg versus 262.6 kg minimum. Qualified P13, acceptable in this kart, with an early pit planned for a kart switch. Fifth among OKT drivers on the grid. 24 OKT-Racing drivers in 11 teams, including 6 solo drivers. Start was OK, still P13 after the first corners until the chicane where BF dropped back. Following the top 10 was hard because this kart did not accelerate as quickly and had lower top speed on the start/finish and Europalaan straights. Dropped to P16; Steadfast, Dely, and others behind were quicker when they could follow, then slower after they passed (not including KRS). Caught up easily, especially with braking. After being pushed wide just after overtaking Steadfast and Dely, drove defensively for those behind and caught up again the next lap. In the final corner Steadfast kept battling instead of following. Overtaking Dely again, Dely tried to push wide at corner entry. Third catch-up after being pushed wide, then a corner-entry crash caused by OKT-Ron and Steadfast behind, which hurt the ribs; GoPro stabilization does not show the actual impact. Let them past and pitted early even though pit karts would not be the best on track, rather than being held up another 45 minutes. Took kart 43 after starting in what was thought to be kart 28. Pit-exit detection is the yellow line, which can save 2-3 seconds. On the outlap the transponder came loose and was fixed while driving. The new attachment is not better than previous ones; 3 or 4 transponders were on track, which is not acceptable. Short moment with OKT-Roy. Source description was cut there.
