Briggs & Stratton LO206 race engine for kart sprint and road course, with a black slide. Color slides and lock cap are in another listing. Wait times on engines can be anywhere from 20-40 days depending on time of year. Bolt-on ready as shown: the engine comes complete as pictured, with no clutch, tail pipe, engine mounting plate, or air filter. Each racing engine is built to spec for the class and organization you will compete in, using 100% of what the rules allow. Anyone that says they can build this engine in a couple of hours has left it all on the table. There are over 20 modifications outlined in the manual and many are in code. These engines take 1 full day to build. Stock engine cost $680.00. Aftermarket parts on this engine: fuel hoses and zip ties, throttle linkage, valve cover breather fitting, carb choke return spring, throttle stop fitting, fuel pump riser, pulse fitting, copper exhaust gasket, back strength plate, throttle cable and plastic sleeve, shipping block off plates. This is the LO206 orange side cover engine, one of the most popular sealed engines on the market. The orange seal is 2018 and newer and the black ones are the older ones. With every version this engine gets a smidge better than the last. The locks prevent anyone from getting in the lower end. If you need a ring or rod you need an entire short block. This build starts with an out of the box engine that could not get out of the way of a built one. Although it is advertised as race ready, it is not ready for the big league. Briggs is the governing body for most all the tracks that run these. It needs many parts right out of the box to get it to run. Pulse fitting and fuel hose is a start to many more parts. To make this engine race ready, Krybaby starts with a complete disassemble right down to the short block. The cam will be profiled to see what we are starting with and after that 20 decisions will be made to make it the best it can be. Work is done on the head, the carburetor, and a few other areas before it is run up on the dyno stand to peak out its performance. If any engine can not be a winner we will cut
