Dom Callan of Team Baguette. Kart 8 starts challenging again in lap 27 and gets by in the closing part of lap 30. A brisk chase follows with a challenge back through traffic. The chase ends with understeer into the grass after a wheel drop into water from the kart ahead. Another driver who did not see underneath is dumped as well, with apologies. Those events end the chance of catching 8. The first 39 laps were very entertaining.
