Footage of a first GT9 9hp endurance outing at SyKart on 11/9/2022, after recently qualifying for those karts. The 30 minute endurance ran right after a 6.5hp endurance. Throttle response and torque felt closer to an LO206 kart than the 6.5hp Sodis usually run there. After a few feeler laps the tires warmed and a groove appeared. Extra power made the technique different: these GT9 karts can come off corners and you can rotate with throttle and brake. Seats cannot move backward, so the fit is cramped, braking uses the whole leg, and the heel cannot sit on the heel stop because of the leg angle, with knees at the hands. First time in these karts and on an unfamiliar alternate layout, the run finished 3rd out of 4 drivers.
