Kart was bought for $5,000 plus shipping and has had several owners. A previous owner from Georgia owned it for two weeks then re-listed it on eBay, calling it the most ridiculous thing he had driven and saying there were not many places to use it. Originally this kart had 6 wheels. It was drag raced and crashed after the front wheels came off the ground. One owner described trying to get major tire makers to produce a tire that would let the kart try to go over 200mph without blowing; a prior clip showed a tire blow with the speedo at 181mph. 150mph or higher is reached in fourth of six gears. The kart has been sold and the new owner is adding paddle shifters and other parts. Local police had two driver suspects and harassed both; they think they know who drove and they are wrong, and the driver remains a mystery. This is a one of a kind custom frame built for this engine. A previous owner said the buyer after him had it up to 170-181mph. It uses a 2005 Yamaha R1 sport bike engine in a Beisse Shifter Kart, around 180 HP, about 220lbs. A previous owner had it to 181 mph before a tire blew.
