Steam cleaner, worth it for cleaning a radiator

Steam on a radiator core looks handy for knocking bugs out of the fins but I keep thinking the nozzle pressure just folds them over. Anyone actually run a steamer across the pack without wrecking it? Moisture left in there is the other worry if you don't blow it dry after.
