Would you trust a kart this cheap?
From what I've picked up used karts often come with extra equipment the previous owner is done with. Would you trust a kart priced a lot lower than others even with that extra stuff included if there is no good way to know how many hours are on the engine?

Get photos of the engine seal and the underside of the chassis before you worry about hours or the extra kit. That check comes first because it tells you if your club will still take the motor and if the frame has any life left, which is the expensive guess a cheap price is hiding. Some grinding underneath is normal. When the wear tracks run wide in a lot of places the chassis is nearly done and spare parts in a box will not fix that.
Unknown hours can wait. A low price can still be honest when someone just wants the kart gone, but don't call it savings if you then have to fund a full refresh to get it raceable. Extra gear only counts if it fits the class you will actually run. If those pictures look honest, this one is still worth considering as a starter.
