Wet conditions rooted
The time in the wet is made by matching every input to the grip that is left, not by putting more work through the wheel. Lower grip should mean lower load on the neck and arms. When it does not, the usual problem is a tight grip and steering that arrives after the slide has already started.
That reading might be incomplete when grip is inconsistent from corner to corner, because you are constantly re-learning the line and that alone keeps you working even if the technique is clean. How much of the extra fatigue is actually a tell, and how much is just the surface changing under you?
