the sprockets wont interchange is what gets folks mixed up, 219 is a tighter pitch than 35 so you cant just swap chain and keep the same gears. race crowd likes the lighter 219, backyard karts usually have 35 cause you can get it anywhere. I reckon class rules settle it more than anything, you running a heavy kid on 219 or does that chew it up?
