I'm trying to decide between outfitting a basic cargo trailer with some living basics or just going for a small toy hauler for race weekends and the odd family trip. From what I understand the toy hauler route already includes the ramp and sleeping or kitchen space but those units usually weigh more empty, which matters a lot when you're limited to half-ton towing capacity and still need room for a kart. Honestly not sure the convenience always balances out against the extra weight and cost. Anyone else landed on one or the other, and is there anything about size or new versus used that tends to matter most in this range?
